I spotted this bird last week but I wasn't sure if it's black-chinned. Today, 9/17/17, I decided to spend the entire afternoon trying to photograph it so I can be sure it's the bird. I did not get a perfect angle to show more purple color but I am very sure this is the black-chinned!
